ABOUT BOOKMARK GAMES
Bookmark Games was first established in 2013 as a creator of strategic games for PC, Mac and iOS. We specialise in the conversion of board games to digital games. If you have an enquiry relating to this please use the contact page below to get in touch - we'd love to hear from you.
Our first ever release was "Critical Mass" on iOS. Critical Mass allows up to four players to compete to control a board by triggering a chain reaction of explosions. It was described by David Neumann on Boardgame Geek as "pretty fun, a bit of a brain-burner".
In 2015 we released a wargame, "Arnhem: Airborne Assault", based on Operation Market Garden. It contained a number of new and original features, including an innovative logistics system that mimiced the communications problems experienced in the campaign.
This was subsequently rereleased through HexWar Games as "Assault on Arnhem". on Steam and the Apple App Store. According to Tim Stone at Rock Paper Shotgun, "PC wargaming needs more toothsome, appetite-whetting hors-d’œuvres like this.".
In 2021 we released "Critical Mass 2", a follow up to the original Critical Mass with improved graphics, sound, new game modes and challenges. It also includes a new and original variant of Go, "Critical Mass 2 Go".
In 2021 we also released the digital adaptation of the boardgame "Pavlov's House" by David Thompson. This game is also available on Steam and the Apple App Store. Mitch Reed at No Dice No Glory said: "Bookmark Games did an excellent job of bringing the game to the digital format... a must buy.".
In 2022 we will be bringing you the digital adaptation of "Undaunted Normandy", the award winning deck building war game by David Thompson and Trevor Benjamin.
